CallScaler (“we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our call tracking platform and related services.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, company name, billing information when you create an account.
  • Call Data: Phone numbers, call recordings, transcriptions, call duration, caller ID, and call metadata processed through our platform.
  • Website Visitor Data: When Dynamic Number Insertion (DNI) is active, we collect visitor IP addresses, referrer URLs, UTM parameters, and click IDs to attribute calls to traffic sources.
  • Usage Data: Log data including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage within the platform.
  • Payment Data: Credit card information processed securely through Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To process calls, recordings, and AI transcription/analysis
  • To attribute calls to marketing sources and send conversion data to advertising platforms
  • To process payments and manage billing
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, alerts, account notifications)
  • To provide customer support
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Twilio (telephony), Stripe (payments), cloud hosting providers, and AI processing services that help us operate the platform.
  • Advertising Platforms: When you configure conversion postbacks, we send call conversion data to Google Ads, Meta, or Microsoft Advertising on your behalf.
  • Legal Requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order.
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

5. Data Retention

Call recordings, transcripts, and analytics are retained for 6 months on standard plans or up to 5 years with the Extended Data Retention add-on. Account data is retained for the duration of your account plus 30 days after deletion. You can request data export or deletion at any time.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encryption at rest, access controls, and regular security audits. While we strive to protect your data, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Cookies and Tracking

Our marketing website uses cookies for analytics and advertising. The CallScaler DNI script uses cookies and local storage to track visitor sessions for call attribution. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA. EU/EEA residents have rights under the GDPR. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@callscaler.com.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect.
