Call Flow Versioning

Understand how call flow versions work and how to safely make changes to active call flows.

How Versioning Works

Every time you save changes to a call flow, CallScaler creates a new version. This gives you a history of every configuration change and lets you roll back if something goes wrong. The version number is displayed on the call flow detail page.

Why It Matters

Call flows handle live phone calls. If you make a mistake (like entering the wrong forwarding number), versioning lets you quickly revert to the previous working configuration. Each version is timestamped so you know exactly when changes were made.

Viewing Version History

Open a call flow and look for the version indicator (e.g., "v3"). The current version number tells you how many times the flow has been modified since creation. Each save increments the version counter.
